Life has been so fun lately. Just wrapped up and we had a great turn out. The Root Beer Kids triathlon. Was so cute and watching them give it their best was a hoot. In addition, my new restaurant, Endion Station,. Just opened and is so cool. Ales, unique ciders, and delicious kebabs and sliders. It is located in the Duluth Canal Park district right on the lake.

The 2nd Annual Root Beer Kids Triathlon was a huge success. With well over 150 kids participating the day was full of smiling kids and family fun. Not only did the participants take away great prizes, a memorable t-shirt, and a frothy root beer float; now they all can pronounce proudly they are all-star triathletes.

Dorothy Molter, the Root Beer Lady. After her passing in 1986, her homestead was dismantled in 1987 and transported by dogsled and snowmobile to Moose Lake, and then on to Ely where volunteers restored two of her cabins at the current site of the Dorothy Molter Museum.
